Newspapers In Education

The Newspapers in Education (NIE) program of Cox Ohio Publishing serves schools in 14 area counties by providing the Dayton Daily News, Springfield News-Sun, The Middletown Journal and JournalNews, for use along with regular classroom curricula.

NIE is a component fund of The Dayton Foundation, and your donations are 100% tax-deductible.

Full color page published in all four daily newspapers every other Tuesday during the school year.

Sponsor can provide copy and graphics on the topic of your choice or NIE can provide topic and content. NIE will design and edit copy as necessary.

READING SERIES

Full color, half page weekly serialized stories published in all four daily newspapers, one chapter at a time.

Two stories are published each school year with the opportunity to sponsor multiple chapters or and entire series.

SUPPLEMENT PACKAGE

NIE publishes sever educational supplements each year. These tabloids are inserted into NIE newspapers and are used by students as a living textbook.
